Meet Maka, the OG Vixen
Hello, I'm Maka, the proud founder of Vixens Playground and a passionate advocate for self-expression, education, and community empowerment. Armed with a degree in Social Sciences and a Red Seal Cosmetology license, I've always been driven to explore new horizons and make a positive impact on the world around me.With a love for learning, I've added Colour Analysis certification to my repertoire, alongside studying the Kibbe body types and even intro to Beauty Therapy ensuring that my clients not only feel amazing but also look their best. I am constantly seeking new knowledge to enhance my skills and better serve my community.Beyond Vixens Playground, I am deeply committed to giving back through my non-profit organization, Our Streets Speak. By providing support and dignity to the individuals in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, I aim to create a more compassionate and inclusive society, one story at a time.When I'm not immersed in my entrepreneurial and philanthropic ventures, you can find me snuggled up with my husband, bonding with my beloved bearded dragon, or diving into my latest book obsession. My journey is one of continuous growth and exploration – I'm thrilled to share it with you through Vixens Playground and beyond.
